Alright...I'm convinced...

Hello all!  I am really trying to make a come back so please be patient with me.  I have a lot of stories going on in my head and on paper...I've accomplished that much, at least. ;)  Of course, there will be changes but nothing crazy and no confusion to previous photo stories.  In fact, the new story line and characters will tie into the old.

Moving on...

I was skeptical for a while about my recent purchase but I'm hopeful that I will be pleased.  It was this photo on flickr that sold me.

So, without further ado...

Introducing...

April Fields
NOT MY PHOTO: Borrowed from Andrew on flickr

April and her father Mack Fields' plane has not yet arrived. April's mother is Anita Fields, the niece of Arlene Howard.  Anita, you've seen before as a filler mom for another gal in my stories. But, I'm hopeful she will be a better fit as April's mother.

As the month goes on, I hope to have all new/existing character's profiles updating so that I can start "filming" next month.   Hope you all have a great week!

Thanks for following!!

  2. Marisa looks like a totally different doll in this photo.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with April and looking forward to meeting her father.

I need to debox my doll. Not sure that I will rebody her, however.

    1. Doesn't she look gorgeous in this photo? I've been trolling the internet on my free time and while I really like everyone's photo of her, I just wasn't convinced until I saw this one. It might just be something as simple as letting her hair down...who knows.

I have two bodies I'm going to try out for her and they're both Liv bodies. Vanessa, said she's a pretty good match for Liv Daniella so it's on standby but I'd also like to take a look at her on Liv Alexis. I'll keep you guys posted. :)

    1. Thanks Dani! You're one of my inspirations. I figure, if Dani can do this blogging thing and she's got a family, I've gotta get some fun in too. ;) I don't care if I have to set timers around the house and work that closely off a schedule, dogoneit...I'm gonna do it! Love your latest post by the way. :)

    2. Glad your back! I miss the Word Shop! I purchased Marisa. I really like her looks. She is one of the dolls I have sitting out to look at. Her hair looks really great in the photo. On my doll, the hair seems a little strange....flyawayish (my own word) and needs some product. I haven't really messed with her hair. I didn't think I would like her(She looks too much like Trichelle, face sculpt is over exposed...yaht, yaht) until I saw her in person!
I'll really have to compare the two and maybe post it. Anyway, I put her on a Fashionista Summer body, the one with the boots. I really love her on that body! Very good complexion match. She is more tan than brown. Hmmm...I haven't taken any pictures of her on this new body. You will be happy to know that I have dicided that she and Sydney will be friends! Sydney sends kisses!

A lot of people say they have a hard time finding her but my local Walmart always has her. I sure hope Mattel brings back the articulated bodies for SIS dolls!

I can wait to see what you will do with her, how you will style her and what her story will be! Welcome back!!!

    3. Thanks Ms Leo! I definitely need to do a story at The Word Shop. After all, it's the only standing diorama I have going right now, LOL.

I'm really looking forward to styling her but I sure hope I don't get a crazy looking one via shipping. Unfortunately, I haven't seen her in my area, so I had to order through Mattel.

I like the idea of Sydney and your Marissa as friends. It looks like they will have great friendship chemistry. :) By the way, love the story you did on Sydney. She fits in perfectly with your guys/gals.

I've been peeping your blog, one eye opened and half asleep but determined to watch my fellow blogger stories and new purchases. I'm really looking forward to bringing drama on a soap opera level. Wish me luck! :)
